Built with a common goal from Lingenfelter and Southern Comfort Automotive, the Reaper is designed to give the Ford Raptor a run for the title, finally.
The Reaper is built on a Silverado crew cab chassis with the short bed and will get a new hood and grille, higher clearance bumper, and flood lights and LEDs that are integrated along with rock rails and a front skid plate.
Engine choices include a supercharged 5.3 liter V8 putting out 475hp or the 6.2 that puts out 550hp each with Corsa exhaust.
The Reaper comes standard with a 20-inch wheel and tire package, but 17-inch beadlock wheels fitted with 33-inch General Grabber rubber are also available.
The suspension has been lifted three inches over stock and fitted with Fox remote reservoir shocks that provide 9.2 inches of wheel travel up front, 11.2 inches in the rear.
Exact pricing has not been revealed, but should run between $50,000 and $60,000, depending on options. It goes on sale in March through select Chevrolet dealerships.
